A very important relationship we have, as a school, is with the Diocese of Chelmsford. As a Church of England foundation, we enjoy the oversight of the Bishop of Barking. It was, therefore, wonderful to welcome Bishop Lynne Cullens to our school last Friday. The bishop very much enjoyed meeting students from our school and getting a grand tour from our highly capable senior prefects. The central focus of the visit was to formally install me as the Chaplain of the School. The service was deeply moving, and it was wonderful to see the Senior School support in a mature and engaged way. It was great to receive their best wishes and handshakes as they were leaving the Church. I very much hope that the service was a blessing for the whole school and wider community.
