About The Friends of Chigwell
The Friends of Chigwell (FOC) is the School’s well-established parents’ association and consist of a group of parent volunteers and co-opted school members.
A dual role
Firstly, they plan and host regular fund raising events to help enhance the facilities and educational experiences that Chigwell pupils enjoy.
Secondly, they strive to bring the community of parents, pupils and teachers together. This is equally important, as the community and social life of the School all enrich children's school experience and help them to get the most out of their time at Chigwell.
How have the FOC supported the School?
Some of the bigger purchases in recent years have included:
- Playhouses for the Pre Prep
- Staging for the Pre Prep Hall
- Junior School Adventure Playground
- Portable Floodlights
- Astronomy Dome
- Grand Piano
- Canoes and Trailer (to enhance outdoor curriculum and Duke of Edinburgh).
