Beyond Chigwell
The vast majority of Chigwell leavers go on to Russell Group universities, or the equivalent, mainly in the UK but with some gaining places at prestigious universities overseas, such as Princeton, Stanford, NYU and Hong Kong University.
In addition, a small but growing number of pupils take up degree-level apprenticeships.
In 2025, the most popular universities for our leavers were King's College London, UCL and the University of Nottingham. Amongst the wide range of other destinations were Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, LSE, Durham, St Andrews, Leeds, Warwick, Manchester, Edinburgh and many more.
European Universities are increasingly popular with some of our pupils with a recent leaver going to study at Sciences Po in Paris, which is current French President Emmanuel Macron's former University.
Our Sixth Formers, choose a wide variety of degree courses and our expert team supports them to select the best courses and institutions to meet their individual interests and aspirations.
