We are delighted for former Chigwell student, Tiami Fellows-Taylor, who has recently launched a new business, 'Treats by Tiami', creating stunning chocolate ‘Heart Smashes’. Decorated with roses, macaroons and chocolate dipped strawberries, there are even more delicious treats revealed inside when the heart is smashed with a cute mini-hammer. In addition, she also creates cake-pops, hot chocolate bombs and personalised chocolate slabs.

The striking designs taste as good as they look, as Chigwell School Pre Prep mums can testify after receiving mini cake pops for Mother’s Day from Tiami via The Friends of Chigwell.

Customisable, interactive and edible; her Loughton based business has captured a niche in the market for gift experiences at a time when supporting local and independent businesses, as well as young entrepreneurs is even more significant than ever before.

Tiami, who took A levels in art, drama and psychology, left Chigwell in 2018, and we are thrilled to see her creative skills and entrepreneurship in action. Featuring in West Essex Life, not once, but twice, her business took off with a flying start when it launched last year.

We wish her all the very best in her new venture and look forward to following her journey.

The cake pops were a joy to make and I really love the design of them with the hand painted roses. I hope they’re a lovely treat for the Pre Prep mums on Mother’s Day"
