New Director of Sport

Glenn Kirkham attended Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School in Alford, Lincolnshire. Following his passion for sports, he pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport & Exercise Science at Loughborough University.

He made significant contributions to education and sports throughout his career. He served as Head of Hockey and Assistant Director of Sport at The Perse School (2005-2014), then moved to New Hall School as Director of Girls Sport and Head of Hockey (2014-2017). He returned to The Perse School in 2017 as Director of Sport.

Glenn excelled in hockey, representing England and Great Britain with 223 appearances from 2003 to 2012. He participated in the Beijing Olympics (2008), London Olympics (2012), and became a European Champion in 2009.

He enjoys quality time with his family through activities like camping and hiking. He's also an avid runner, completing the London Marathon in 2019, and passionately coaches hockey at Chelmsford Hockey Club. As a dedicated supporter, he follows Tottenham Hotspur F.C. closely. He is married to Marie and has two daughters, aged 8 and 10.
