Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson is one of Britain's most accomplished Paralympians, winning 16 Paralympic medals, including 11 golds, across five Paralympic Games. Widely regarded as one of the country's greatest wheelchair racers, she has inspired generations through her extraordinary sporting achievements and her lifelong commitment to equality and inclusion.
Following her distinguished sporting career, Tanni was appointed to the House of Lords in 2010, where she has become a leading voice on disability rights, accessibility, sport and public policy. She has chaired and contributed to numerous reviews and advisory groups, helping to shape national policy on disability inclusion, transport, health and education.
A passionate advocate for creating a more inclusive society, Baroness Grey-Thompson continues to champion equal opportunities for disabled people in all aspects of life. Alongside her work in Parliament, she serves as patron, trustee and ambassador for a wide range of charities and organisations, using her platform to promote accessibility, participation and social change.

Seating for the Church services will be on a first come, first served basis. The doors will open from 9.15am.
You may use the main car park or Middle and Lower Fields (access via the gate on Roding Lane) for parking. There will be no parking in Front Quad nor at St Mary's Church. For those wanting to then use their vehicle to leave the school site and drive to the Metropolitan Police Sports Club at Chigwell Hall, you should allow yourselves 30 minutes for doing so. Parking will be available but you are also welcome to walk there if you wish.
Yes, we encourage families to bring their own food and drinks for the picnic on Top Field at 12.30pm. We recommend you use a cool box to store your picnic in should there be hot weather. The Sixth Form Centre will be open for ice creams and coffees, but there will be no food for sale.
You are welcome to bring along gazebos and chairs to the picnic.
Pupils should be in full school uniform. For guests, the dress code is smart dress.
