Chigwell School is delighted to announce the launch of the very first TEDxChigwell School Youth event - an exciting evening of powerful talks, inspiring stories, live performances, and thought-provoking ideas designed to spark reflection, encourage change, and entertain audiences along the way.
Taking place on Friday 26 June 2026 from 4.00pm–10.00pm in the Drama Centre, this year’s event will explore the theme “Enlighten Your Way”, inviting students and members of the local community to share ideas, experiences, and passions that have the power to inspire others.
TEDxChigwell School Youth aims to celebrate the diverse interests, personal stories, and unique perspectives within our community. The programme will feature a carefully selected group of speakers alongside artistic interludes and live performances, creating an engaging and memorable experience for all who attend.
Students interested in becoming speakers are encouraged to apply. As part of TED’s mission of sharing “ideas worth spreading”, speakers will have the opportunity to use their voice and storytelling skills to make a meaningful impact within the school community and beyond.
We are looking for individuals who are curious, open-minded, passionate about a topic, and confident in communicating ideas through compelling storytelling. Whether presenting on stage or joining the audience, TEDxChigwell School Youth promises to be an inspiring and uplifting occasion.
