Some Year 11 and Sixth Form chemistry students volunteered to take part in the Royal Society of Chemistry Olympiad Competition 2019.  This is a challenging two hour test aimed at the best Year 13 students with over 7000 entrants nationally. All the students performed very well and we are proud of all of them with the following students being awarded medals: Gold (top 8%) Adrianna Wojtyna, Silver (top 25%) Joy Cheung, Bronze (top 30%) Poppy Bradley and Madeleine McCormack (especially noteworthy as Madeleine is in Year12). Chemistry teacher, Mr Long, commented that “It is great to see the students testing themselves outside their comfort zone like this.”
