Chapel

Chapel is not just where the gospel is heard and where the School community practices its faith but also where the choir meet to practice and where the yearly flower festival takes place.

Gymnasium

The Gymnasium is very much favoured by the School keep-fit community for its excellent old style spring floor.

Science School

The Science Block was completed in 1997 and houses the physics, biology and chemistry laboratories and classrooms

The Sports Hall

The Sports Hall (1991) has a multi-gym room and a gallery furnished with up-to-date cardiovascular keep-fit facilities.

Art & technology Centre

The Art Centre was firstly opened by the Queen Mother in 1981 and extended in 1995 to provide first-class facilities for Art, Design and Technology, as well as an excellent Exhibition Centre.

The New Hall

New Hall was opened in 1929, it is now used for assembly every day and all the School’s major musical events and concerts are held here.

Dining Hall and Swallow Room

The Swallow Room used to be the main School library, but now, together with the Dining Hall, is where all meals are taken by pupils and staff.

The Main School office

The Main School Reception was once the Headmaster’s residence and now the building houses the administrative block with a reception area, a meeting room and various offices.

Walde Music School

The Walde Music School was built in 1961 and extended in 2000 to include ICT facilities and additional classrooms.

The Junior School

The Junior School was opened in 1976 during the Headmastership of Mr Brian Wilson, a large portion of Grange Court’s garden was sold to raise the money that paid for the Junior School!

The Drama Centre

Officially opened by HRH the Countess of Wessex on 15th October 2004, the Drama Centre boasts a 150 seat Theatre, a workshop, a green room, drama classes, studios and a large lobby area which is ideal for receptions.

The Library

The Swallow Library is the original “Big School” building, once the main School Classroom, it now houses a well stocked reference library including DVDs and computers.
