III & IV

JA, AD, VL [Vikki Lloyd] to set up woodland exercise (see below) for 4.45-5.15 (5 minutes per group).

Introduction (26th's Hut, CJL, JPC):
Removes are to be in separate Patrols this year, and there are no new UII coming in yet, so III and IV will be in their old Patrols for now, with some adjustments if needed.
Leaders appoint the PLs, who appoint their own APLs.

4.30 Leadership exercise (Bottom Sandon Wood):
To see who might be a good PL, random threes of IVth form are to lead random teams of III and IV in getting themselves and some heavy kit over the Wall.
While each group is doing this the others play Jailbreak (run by AD and LF in the Plantation).

5.30 Conclusions: (26th's Hut)

  • Announce PLs, who choose an APL each, and then fit onto existing Patrols, with adjustments as necessary.
  • Present PL and APL flashes (JPC).
  • Give out the letter for Scouts and parents.

Awards: explain the system and what's needed for this term and year.
Last term's winning Patrol was Eagles: treat for Jack A, Philippa, Ben C-r, Genny, Hannah, Aliya,
Colan, Neel, Laurence, Sid - what would they like - ideas to PMN please.

Explain that a letter has gone home with a reply-slip due in next Thursday, or, for IIIFL and IIIPF, the one after.

Ask re designing new sweatshirts / T shirts.
