There is one big award for Scouts, composed of a series of Challenges:
The Chief Scout's Gold Award More...
What you need: Outdoor Challenge
plus 4 more Challenges
plus Personal Challenge
The 29th's solution:

by the end of your IIIrd form: Outdoor Challenge: 2 nights' camping, 13 basics of camp living, plus simple first aid. This means being trained for the camp in the activities (roughly 3 or 4 meetings a term), then going on the camp and carrying out most of them in practice.
by the end of your IVth form:

Outdoor+ Challenge: after 8 nights' away, camp at least 2 more nights, taking a leading role in planning / running the camp. This usually means being a PL or APL at a camp, but there are other ways you can help plan or run aspects of a camp, for example kit or food.
Adventure Challenge: plan, train for and carry out three adventurous activities. This means one per term.

by Christmas of your Remove year:

Expedition Challenge: plan, train for 2-day overnight expedition with friends
Personal Challenge: consider what your 3 new tasks from 3 different areas might be
Further Challenge: consider which other Challenge you are going to go for

by the end of your Remove year: Expedition Challenge: carry out the 2-day overnight expedition
Personal Challenge: complete 3 new tasks from 3 different areas
and... at least one of these others...: Community Challenge: find out about the local area, and spend about 6 hours supporting your community
Creative Challenge: take part in 3 creative activities from a list of 6
Fitness Challenge: over a month or two show significant improvement in a physical activity
Global Challenge: make contact with Scouts abroad, and learn about (and do something about) a global issue
